SAS was retained for the renovation of the offices of Brockman, Inc., a book publishing agency, headquartered in Manhattan.
The brief called for the creation of a new office space for the company’s expanding partnership, a reorganization of existing facilities, and renovation of the office lobby. Our solution included a holistic evaluation of the existing office space use and proposals for condensing functions in order to provide a more efficient and generous work environment. Our scheme focused upon reorganizing spatial uses, simplifying and updating finishes, providing integrated storage systems, providing more dignified display of the company’s selected published material, the accommodation of additional work spaces, and the introduction of more subtle and refined lighting to create a more sophisticated office space reflective of the company’s prowess.
