Ignacio Guisasola
Lead Designer
Ignacio Guisasola earned his Diploma in Architecture from Mendoza University School of Architecture in Mendoza, Argentina in 2006. He graduated with high honors and his work was recommended for publication. As part of his education, Ignacio took part in an exchange program with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University’s Washington Alexandria Architecture Center, where he developed and presented his thesis project.
Before joining Solomonoff Architecture Studio, Ignacio worked for PGAL Alexandria, and Gruzen Samton, LLP in Virginia. At PGAL, he worked on the expansion of the International Arrivals Hall at Dulles International Airport. At Gruzen Samton, he aided in the development of a wayfinding and numbering system for the US Census Bureau Building in Suitland, Maryland.
During his spare time in Argentina, Ignacio was a member of a small design collective, performing as VJ’s in many cultural and nightlife events.
Ignacio is a lead designer at SAS currently collaborating on several projects.
